
Louisa Setornam Zormelo is a Clinical Psychology Intern and an alumna of the University of Ghana, where she held leadership positions and spearheaded student-focused initiatives centred on mental health, sexual wellbeing, and resilience.
Louisa is deeply passionate about helping young professionals and students identify opportunities within the psychology profession, while also supporting them in navigating the challenges that come with building a career in the field. Her research has particularly focused on adverse childhood experiences and their impact on mental health, an area that reflects her commitment to understanding the long-term psychological effects of early life adversity.
Currently serving as the National Student Representative of the Ghana Psychological Association (GPA), Louisa is dedicated to continually advocating for the best interests of students and young professionals, and to ensuring their meaningful involvement in the activities and direction of the Association.
